CB Darius Slay - Slay continues to be strong in man coverage, breaking up 13 passes. He still isn’t coming up with many interceptions, but the two he snagged this year, plus a forced fumble, helped seal comeback wins. GRADE: B+

Allen Park – The Detroit Lions remained without three starters during Thursday’s practice, but wide receiver Marvin Jones returned to the field after missing Wednesday for personal reasons.

Offensive tackle Riley Reiff (illness), cornerback Darius Slay (hamstring), linebacker DeAndre Levy sat, as did backup offensive tackle Corey Robinson (ankle).

Running back Theo Riddick, tight end Eric Ebron and defensive tackle Haloti Ngata all practiced for a second consecutive day, increasing the odds they’ll be available Sunday when Detroit travels to Houston.
