Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson is planning a campaign rally Friday evening in Detroit, while Republican Donald Trump will be back in the region Thursday for a rally in Toledo.

Johnson’s campaign has scheduled a 6 p.m. rally Friday at Cobo Center in downtown Detroit, according to a Facebook announcement.

The rally with the former New Mexico governor is open to the public and will be his second campaign trip to Detroit. On Sept. 14, Johnson spoke to the Detroit Economic Club.

Free tickets for the Johnson rally can be reserved on his campaign’s Eventbrite page.

On Thursday, Trump will make his third trip to Toledo since the Republican National Convention in July.

The Trump campaign is planning a 4 p.m. rally Thursday at the SeaGate Convention Centre in Toledo. Free tickets can be reserved on the Trump campaign website.

Trump was last in Toledo on Sept. 21 and before that held a rally inside the city’s minor league hockey arena on July 27.

The New York businessman hasn’t campaigned in Michigan since holding a large rally Sept. 30 at Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton held a rally after the second presidential debate on Oct. 10 at Wayne State University in Detroit.
